Day 17 oxy withdrawal want to stop clonzapem too

As you all know this is my second go round, I have been taking 1.5mg of clonzapem for 3 months and want to stop it makes me feel BLAHHH I know I have anxiety but the celexa should be helping that. I dropped down to 1mg yesterday and am going to drop to .5 next week then .25 the following week then off. Do you think I could be more or less aggressive. I would c/t it but I have to work during this time...or should I Thanks in advance how long do you think the withdrawals will last?

Why did your Dr. prescribe the Klonopin for you? The reason I ask is because I have had major Anxiety for many years, and have been taking Klonopin for many years for it. It helps my anxiety disorder. I would ask my Dr. first. Sometimes we just don't want to take any pills at all, but some are prescribed for genuine psychological disorders. Just to be on the safe side, I would ask your prescribing Dr.

Thanks for the post I'm gonna stay at 1mg till I hit day 30 and if everything seems Ok drop to .5 my shrink said I could go to 1mg since I haven't been on it that long and see how it goes and then taper accordingly. So here we go....I started yesterday so we will see what happens in the next few days. And Vic I have no idea how you c/t everything all at once you are SUPERWOMAN;)

OK..You only have 17 days from the oxys right?? Just give this some time. One drug at a time..I went c/t from 3 and it was not a walk in the park. Let your Brain adjust back from the removal of the opiates, which hits a different areas then the Benzos..Then do a nice and easy taper from the benzo for sure. Have you talked with your Dr about all of this?? You soon will be off of it all and will diffidently feel some improvements. BUT it will be a roller ride for a while. Just make sure you drinks lots of water to flush this out. Keep taking the vit/min and the Electrolyte powders and Protein powders too. I wish you the best..No looking back now!

I do too; I know exactly what you mean.  We will be off everything soon,  just have to do one thing at a time.

You def don't want to CT a benzo- it can be dangerous.  I'm going through the same thing.  My new dr. started my taper last week and switched me from Xanax to Ativan.  I posted about a week ago the frustration with my taper and got lots of good advice.  I was thinking of just going CT because I want to be done with pills, but everyone told me not to.  
Check out the Ashton manual; it has lots of information about benzos.
