Percocet and Norco Addiction

I have been taking Percocet and Norco for two years but it has been well over a year now on a daily basis. It ranges anywhere from 40mg up to 100mg a day. I am constantly thinking about quitting but not sure how and I am worried about withdrawals. Every night before I go to bed, I tell myself tomorrow is the day I quit, and yet that hasn't happened yet. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you all for your support. I am new to all of this and it is great to see I am not alone. I was thinking of tapering off but maybe going cold turkey would be the best. I will keep you posted.

Cold turkey. I've done both C/T & Taper.  Right now,I'm on day 2

I too wanted to quit for many months but was too scared. I'm so happy 9 days ago I took the leap and now I'm feeling better than ever!! It was def a really hard time to wd, but I flushed all my pills so I wouldn't get urges.
Vicourageous has listed great things to get through wd. Also try melatonin for sleep... I barely got 3hrs of sleep my first 5 days but I got threw it.
Once you decide to quit, list your symptoms on here we will help n support you.

Yes!! I agree with Rosy..You can fear the w/ds and it will make you continue down this road for years and years. You are still young and will bounce back quicker..You do not want to do anymore damage or unbalancing of the Brain Chems and such..This is why this becomes a brain disease and the longer you use the harder it becomes to readjust back from these Substances. Get out why you can Please!!! Just stick around and we can help you get through the detox with what we did or what we used to ease it a bit..The detox is the easy part (Hard) but it is staying clean that takes the cake.
Right now start drinking Lots of Water and get some vit/min to help replenish back what we lose during use. Get some electrolyte powder and some protein powders. Magnesium is the best detoxer of it all..Get the Epsom salt for when you are detoxing..The salt helps draw out poisons. The Calcium, Magnesium, Ds and Potassium will help with sleep and helps relax you a bit. There is all kinds of Great People here that will help  guide you right through this..I wish you the best and just take the First Step..That is the Biggest Step anybody could take!!!!
Bless
