Pill abuse

What causes (drug abusers) addicts to start having a sweet tooth...crave energy drinks...sugar...soft drinks etc?

I have really fought of the urge to eat cheese cake. lol.  I had on major set back .. okay. 2 setbacks.. lol.

Its been a month and the urge to eat all the sugar in Cuba is much better.. but wow.. I agree.. that was impressive..

Because we have abused substances we have opened up more receptors in our brains therefor when we eat or drink sweet stuff they give us a surge of some of those chemicals the receptors are looking for. Non addicts have far fewer receptors and their brains are still producing those chemicals naturally for them. Our brains stopped producing when we started abusing because it became overloaded with these chemicals and figured it didnt need to produce them anymore. It takes a while for the brain to heal and realize it needs to start producing again but when it does some of these craving may subside a bit. Of course you have to stop using for that to happen.
