.. didn't someone also say on here that banana's help the RLS?
anyone?
and yes, take the Ambien.. for sure.
iam on day six last night was the first night on Valium. Work for 4hrs maybe 5. Dont take Tylenol pm. It has the tendency to make ur body tired but your mind wired. Sleep when ever u have the urge. If u can c a family doc it will cost $60. Tell him ur detoxing ask for 10 Valium for night and a two week supply of Xanax both generic. They should cost about $12. Listen to ibkleen he helped me greatly try cantalope it was my fav. Iam a couple days ahead of u and it does get better. Try and get out for small walk. Good luck
Ambien will help alot.
Those few hour's sleep will be needed.
It gets better soon.
So hang in there.
This is just my experience but for me I took ambien for the first 2 days of one of my many attempts at a cold turkey withdrawl and it helped me sleep about 4 hours per night straight.. So for me that was amazing.. Like you other times I was maybe getting 5 minutes here and there all night tossing and turning jumping up and down walking around then laying back dwon just to do it all over again and again..
BEST OF LUCK
CONGRATS ON DAY 4
DAY 5 SHOULD BE BETTER
YOU CAN DO THIS
WE ARE HERE FOR YOU
Take the ambien, hop in a HOT bath, hop into bed!!!!!
works for me almost every time.
I don't take ambien, i just take tylenol PM or something, but you get my drift!
GOOD LUCK!
I would not get your hopes with the Ambien I had Ambien and valium I used both for a week and still lost allot of sleep. Sleep deprivation is part of the ride. With time sleep will come bit by bit. I still wake up earlier than I want but my sleep I get is good sleep. Give your body some time to heal it has been through allot with using. I think by this weekend you will feel much better. After day 4 it only gets better.
congrats on day 4....the sleep deprivation i have to say was the worst for me....the only thing that helped me was valium.....it knocked me out and the rls too.....i took lunesta once i think that is like ambien ..it did help with sleep but i dont know about rls because i was past the rls by then...which for me was about 2 weeks....hope this helps....
Congrats on Day 4!
The RLS is very normal, sorry to say. Often times, something like Ambien can irritate the situation. It may not, but there is a chance.
I can only suggest hot baths, a heating pad on your calves and push fluids.
The good news is that it should only last another day. By the weekend you will be fine. Keep up the good work!!!!!!!!!
