Poly Substance Gotta Quit

I am an alcoholic. I was treated with upwards of 150mg of Oxycodone (controlled release and immediate release)after multiple surgeries, all while on Clonazepam 3mg daily (ten years) and Clonidine Patch for blood pressure. For about a year, I am down to maximum of 30mg Oxycodone a day but escalated my Clonazepam in the last six (up to 10mg day, occassionally), have had episodic alcohol relapses (last one three days ago 400mg Vodka). Started Disulfuram today. I want to get clean and have a support system with NA & AA. It will not be easy and just stopping meds would be lethal. Inpatient is not an option. My fear is great. I have to remain functional. Any ideas where to start.

That is aall fine and dandy. I can not do inpatient! I need to know what to do. I cut the oxy in half. I increased the Vodka to 200ml per night and took five mg of Klonopin as well as 350mg of Soma as I can not tolerate the nightmares. I know that I can not dictate my own treatment. My legs are killing me! So is my back. Any more ideas? I want help. I appreciate it too. I thank you all.

This might be an option for you. Warning it is scientology for those of you who are aposed to that kind of thing.

It is an inpatient detox that will allow you to stay as long as it takes to get you to a point were you will no longer need drugs.

Investigate it for yourself and find your own truth. there is alot of black PR out there that says bad things about it because some people are aposed to seing people actualy get better and learn to identify the people who are trying to supress the rest of us.

I think starting with AA or NA is a good idea, and you might look into some structured outpatient treatment as well. You need to take this one step at a time and figure out what your relapse triggers are, if you haven't already. Once you can deal with your triggers, then talk to your doctor about decreasing the meds.
