My daughter who is 22 lost 3 friends in drinking/driving related accidents on Xmas eve and New Years eve. For one thing, you son is underage and I may be over stepping my boundaries here but he needs to be educated on the penalties for underage drinking especially if driving. My son (18 at the time) was arrested at a party where he was spending the night (due to drinking and of which I was unaware, lives with his alcoholic dad)just because he was drinking illegally. All the kids were written up, made to attend ASAP, lost their license for a month and had to do community service. My daughter is exhibiting signs of alcoholism already and I am getting ready to kick her out if she does not get help. I have told her I would support her and help her as long as she gets help or she could go live with her dad...I have gotten off topic here but if your son does not have a tolerance for alcohol I think you can count your blessings. He is young and has his life ahead of him. I have seen and heard of too many kids making big mistakes or worse under the influence and binging seems to be the "in" thing these days. I was afraid to drink at their age due to "fear" of my parents wrath if I ever got caught (which on a couple of occasions I did)I think that kept me from making some big mistakes I would have regretted. Good luck with your son...these kids don't come with instructions and parenting can be frustrating. God Bless
