I once again messed up on my tapering program.  I guess that if they are around, my will is not strong enough to keep me out of them.  I took my last ocycodone 7.5/325 on Wednesday morning.  I should have been taking 5 of them a day.  By Thurdsay morning, I already had everything bad going on.  I still feel bad and am wondering how much longer I can expect this to last.  I do feel a tad bit better today...but not much.  I just wish I could sleep the day away so this will finally be over with.

Thank you all for all your help and support.  As an update:  I am still clean!!!!  It has been a very hard weekend so far but I feel that I have made it this far and I CAN keep going.  Tomorrow will be the biggest test of all.  I have some shopping to do and it was times like that when I would take a extra pill here and there.  I am a very nervous person and get nervous when I drive or am going to be around a lot of people...and the oxy's would tend to keep me calm and relaxed.  I am going to try something different tomorrow....I am going to try to meditate for a while before I head out and see if that helps.  I have heard a lot of people get good "vibes" from meditating.
I know I still have a long way to go and am very thankful you are all here for help and support!  God Bless!!!!

Thank you.  I guess it is a little bit of both...leg aches and RLS...that is what I have the worst of today.  I am sweating really good but the sweat stinks really bad...is this normal?  I just feel drained of all energy....even getting up to go to the bathroom is hard.  I knew to expect a lot of this...but this is just nuts!  Talk about the flu...that is the best way to describe what I am going through right now...the flu X 1000.  With it being the weekend, there is no way to call my Doc. to tell him what I am doing...and I fear so much that by tomorrow, I will cave and call and tell him I lost my refill or something like that....you see, I tore up my refill when I knew I was just going to try cold turkey again.  I am not strong enough to do a taper and I know that now.....this is the only way for me.  And if I do get that refill, I will be right back to square one.  God please give me the strength to make it just a couple more days.  I know I can do this.....

The RLS can last awhile longer but it does go away.  Try soaking in a warm bath as that usually helps........sara

Try to stay on same thread so I can follow your questions easier.  Some people say RLS can last for up to 10 days.  You can try Robitussin DM which helps alot with RLS.  If it is just leg aches than hot baths with Epson salt works amazing.

Any idea when the leg aches will go away?

I understand but if you can do this you can do anything!!  make sure you tell who ever is giving you RX to stop.  Even if it is your doctor.  If you have friends giving it to you change your phone number and hang out with clean people.  This is your chance to change your life around.

WD could last anywhere from 3-7 days depending on how much and what drug you were using.   Stay strong because you are already in WD and the 3rd day is usually the worst.  You can do this.
