If I want to get off all opiets and I'm going to a methdone clinic out of the two wich one is the best to ween myself off of going to dose then have it cut back slowly can do at my own paceim tierd of being a junkie its a ball and chian that stops me from doing so much always waiting on the dope man so I would like all advice. On doing this from patients that have. Done it I want to go down on dose of whatever I decide and if I. Need.to get something to go with it a person I knw man on methdone say pot helps him alot    all advice and input on this I apricate all the help I can get I can't live this way even though I do        please pretty please help everyone

Subs are a lot better you are more likely to stay clean methadone is the worst thing I've ever done I was pregnant so I really had no where to turn and in the end I lost my baby girl to premature birth caused by short cervix I had a healthy pregnancy before her the methadone made me very sick when I started it this lasted for two weeks strongly suggest suboxone

Deciding between dones or subs. Tough one. I am about to try the subutex, because I was trying to get off opiates three years ago and am now fighting with 100mg methadone habit more than I did with the mix of garbage I was doing before. I've tried to taper for a year while saving money for rehab or subs incase it didn't work. I don't have the self control to stop methadone. Thursday is my first day of sub and will post the results. This feels like my last chance. This is my experience not an opinion. I wish the meth would have worked for me like it has for so many. Every body is unique. Listen to yours and fight for your life. Up in Canada we're sent to detox. Methadone is a ball and chain too!! I';ve been clean and sober since 2000 (I don't count pot, but I do count alocohol).
