Question about acetaminophen

by jfrick50, Aug 31, 2007 10:45PM
My pharmasict just told me today not to take more than 4000 mg. of acetaminophen a day, with the treatment plan I am on. Being that I am only 22 years old and I only weigh 100 pounds, should I worry about my liver already? Should I have it checked? Does it matter how big or small you are or is everyone's liver the same? Sorry, I am not the smartest person in the world when it comes to all of this... That's why I look to you guys for answers. Thanks everyone. I don't know where I would be without you.

I don't think size matters.. I am also quite small and my liver is fine.. it all depends on the abuse it has taken and how well it detoxes itself... if you are concerned you should pick up some milk thistle its a supplement for liver health
