A hot bath at 4 am? Sure! Why not?!

So, I was " donzo" last night. My legs started to hurt so bad. My back was killing me! Do you guys think that my back is hurting really bad because I broke my entire back? Or it's hurting cause of withdrawals? My tummy hurts (girl problems) I am definitely winning this morning !! Hahah so, I took a hot bath at 4 in the morning. Made my entire body feel great! Went back to sleep and stayed asleep until 8 this morning!!! Whoop whoop! I ' ll those extra four hrs. Also, thanks everyone for the love. I'm still new to this site so, I'm still learning about it. Hang in there with me. Xoxo

Aww I'm really happy for you! I'm glad that you started sleeping like a baby again. I'm on day 2 so, I can't wait to be where you are! How's ur back pain? I saw ur post on Friday. I was really worried for you... :/

Yes, I've come to realize that I won't need these stupid pain pills. Yes, I broke my entire back but, I think my back pain can be tolerable, you know?

Hi! It's crazy how we all have similar stories when it comes to pills and pain. You too, woke up and popped 2 pills and started counting your dose. Same goes for me. When I would get low on pills, I would start counting to see if my pills would last me to my next prescription. I would get so scared once my pills were running low. I always had to thing of a " back up plan" and somehow, my plan always worked. Thank you for ur advice! And I totally, agree with u. Being clean and sober will make me be a better wife and mommy. My hubby and baby deserve and amazing wife/mommy. Because they are amazing!!

My back is messed up badly They want to do surgery, I am in little to no pain sober, on meds I was always hurting, W/D almost killed my back! SOOO much better now keep on keeping on!!!

Alot of us found that our pain actually got better the longer we were off the pills.  Once your brain realizes you mean business it wont play so many games.

Also, when I wake up now the pills never enter my mind.  You can do this, have faith in yourself and let your family be motivation.  Being sober will make you a better wife and mother.

It's a very different life being sober, a much much better quality of life.  I too used to get up in the morning with nothing on my mind but my first 2 norco.  Then I'd start counting down until my next dose.  I justified it with this and that but I knew inside it was BS.  After I got clean the pain in all areas was almost non existent and what was left was easily manageable.  Your mind wants the drugs so it will do what it can to justify you taking them.

Thanks friend! Yea, I can't wait to see how my back feels after I get clean and sober. For example, when I was using/abusing Norco, I'd wake up with terrible back pain. I'd. Pop 2 pills and my pain would go away. So, I'm a little nervous/excited on how my back is going to feel without the pills. I've been using pills for almost 8 years!! I can't wait to be off of them and feeling great!

Yes, it's the withdrawal.  Once you flush the pills out of your system you will be amazed at how the pain changes.  A lot of people find its not nearly as bad as while on the pills and can manage while taking nothing at all.  Your brain is playing tricks on your body to get you to take another pill.  Stay strong and fight the urge, it's sounds like your doing great!

Thank you for replying back. So, you really think my back pain is because of the withdrawals? Not because of my broken back? Crazy! I can't wait to see once I get clean from Norco; to see what my back feels like than. Watch, I won't have as bad as back pain.

Glad to hear you got some sleep!  Yep your back is hurting due to the wd;s also.  You and the baths will become good friends for awhile!  Stay strong in your fight, you can do this.
