I was not flaming you. I was just letting you know there are many members that really dont have anyone other then this forum .so in her case if she can taper it would probably be better when caring for kids .I am sorry if I came off as if I was being mean that was not my intention ....

I was just poking for some info,trying to help.I have the luxury of 5 weeks paid vacation a year plus 6 paid personal days a year.I have 42000 dollars in my bank account.So money is no problem for me if i need to hire someone i can.I live with  my brother and he is very helpful and understanding.He has watched me relapse 6 times and redetox 6 times.I was looking for some sense of how she was financially.No offence was intended.No need to flame me.I too am here for support i need it.All i can think about is going back on the damn pills because everything just seems better when im on them.Trouble is it never lasts.Eventually no matter how much i take i feel like crap.Then i have to detox again.This has been going on for two years.I am hoping i can keep off permanently this time.Wish me luck,i think i am gonna need some

Get help from a freind and have them dole out the pills for you if you are going to try to taper. 5 a day isn't that bad so stopping now is a good idea because it will only get worse.  Get some OtC meds like bendryl, dayquil, theraflu etc for your symptoms.  Take hot baths and drink lots of water. Take your baby for a walk around the block, go to the grocery store and keep moving as much as you can.  If all else fails go to your doctor and seek his help they have things that can help you besides suboxone. Hang in there and do this for yourself and your baby. Finally go to NA and alanon for the addiction issues you and your family have it will save your life.

There are many people that cant not hire a nurse or for that matter a babysitter some people have to do it on there own because they dont have any help .sometimes this is all the help they have.

Do you have any family or friends who could help you out with the baby?Just be honest and not embarassed to tell them the TRUTH!  You have a problem and you need help!  People can be empathetic to your situation and help you out.It won't hurt to ask them.

here is the thing at some point if you take the sub you are going to have to go off it sometime and its going to be far worse then what you are taking now . Not to mention it is VERY expensive and it is not covered by most insurances

If you are taking any hydrocodone at all you are making a big mistake.Just stop cold turkey right now.You will feel much worse at first but be done with the whole miserable experience much sooner.Trust me on this i have gone through it 7 times.

Good to hear that you are taking some action towards being free and clean, my hats off to ya. First and foremost you really really want to have the desire and drive to stop today. I was on 10 vicodin 10's along with other opiates and benzo's for 20 years, and I tried everything and anything to stop using. It took me well over 3 weeks to feel normal again and the initial withdrawing was 8 days. Walking really helped me along with drinking plenty of water and a vitamin regime. There is NO cake walk no matter what recovering from opiates, but staying confident and having a little bit of coping skills it can be done. After several attempts to do it on my own, and failing to do so, I entered a 40 day inpatient treatment facility that is operated by the state. So, it did not cost me a penny. So far it has worked very well and the facility provided me with a lot of options for a recovery program. I was so scared for my life this time that I listened to what people were saying and put forth an honest attempt to stay clean and focused. This disease does kill so many people and I am tired of playing Russian Roulette. Now I attend a 90 day IOP program and put forth the desire to stop today, its all we have. Again, I congratulate you for putting forth an effort. Be true to yourself.

every word as a plus sign inbetween it try lowercase and see if that makes the plus signs go away. as I said for the amout you are taking I would not take sub I would just would taper down a pill every few days if you take sub for 100mgs a day that like going from the frying pan to fire

Pill, keep up the good work..I have been off oxy and oxycodne for 68 hours.  Feeling a little better today..Go to your Doc and get Diaizphine..really help with WD.  Got diraheaa today for the first time..Not to bad.  Still have running nose Yawning not as much, and sneezing still...If I go till 5pm it will be 72 hours free..If I can do it  you can to  Much Luck!
