Please Help - Fifth Day Anxiety!!

Well here I am on day five off the oxy's and back at work. I still don't feel 100% but it's only been five days. My troubles lie in my very acidic stomach and anxiety (I'm sure that the two are one and the same). Mental clarity is here and it's kind of strange but I suppose after being sedated for a year it is going to seem weird. Any ideas on when this anxiety will go away?? Everyone on here has been very helpful and I appreciate it greatly!!

opium in the old days, was always used as a gastrointestinal remedy. it is known for those qualities, actually works very well for such issues, as us addicts often learn over the years, when we go the bathroom............

more than likely you both probably have severe diarrhea issues, on top of it.

drink protein weight lifting powder, with vitamin D milk  mixed, with yogurt, all while you eat a bowel of oat meal, with it.

v8 juice with lunch

triscuits and cheese at night

people talk about vitamins alot, but freeform -natural sources make a huge difference.

I don't pewk it up, but my stomach acids are really giving it to me. In the past, I've used alcohol around days 5 through 7 just to get the dopamine pumping again. Yesterday I tried that and WOW...bad idea, stomach acid frenzy!! Today I'm eating lots just to settle my stomach and it seems to be working. If you can try to throw whatever healthy foods you can into your system (avoid acidic's though) and it should help. I'm in Canada and there is a product called Gravol (OTC) that helps tons to settle the stomach, can you get that their??

Exercise...exercise...exercise.  I know it's hard when going thru WD, but it helps sooo much...especially with the anxiety.  Your body is screaming for activity.....so do it!  It helps with the recovery process too (IMO).
