Quit lorcets,now no sleep

I quit taking lorcets cold turkey. Most physicall problems gone but cant sleep. I feel like im gonna go crazy. Will return to work in 2 days. Need to sleep.

HI the sleep thing can be problematic it is for most of us ...just know your body will sleep when it is absolutely necessary it may only come in cat naps for a wile...try a good hot bath right b/4 you go to bed that helped me the most...some people do well taking niquil
others go the homapathic rout and use melatonine or valarine root both can be gotten at
walmart...I really think you just have to wait it out how long has it been since you quit???

I hear ya!!! My Boyfriend and I are almost 72 hours clean and neither one of us can sleep worth crap!!! Legs won't stop moving and can't sleep, this effin *****! I tried takin some soma's too sleep but that isn't working either! I'm at work right now on 54 min. of sleep last night! Woo-Hoo! But really I feel for you, I really do! Since I'm almost 2 days ahead of you I can re-post my sleep sucess for you if you want! I don't want to but I might find some soma's tonight and at least get a few hours!

Melatonin helped me sleep when I quit drinking.  The first week or so was the worst for sleep and then it got better.  Right now, I'm detoxing from vicodin and I've just been tossing and turning all night.  I need to get some more Melatonin.

yes it is...and it does help.  You can also get something at walmart called Restful Legs.  I think that's what it's called.....its for RLS- a common side effect of opiate WD.  It works wonders.

Thank you!!! Since I'm not spending $100+ a day on pills now I will be going to Wal-Mart tonight to buy me some RLS or Melatonin!
