Hi!  Your question is so familiar - I asked myself the same thing back in May when I first came to MH.  I was on a low dose of Vicodin for about 2 years, and was afraid to stop because I didn't know what the withdrawals would be like.  I got alot of good answers, and after about 3 1/2 days, I was pretty much back to normal, exept for some cramping and those darn sleep issues.

I posted the very same question:  Is this over, or are there still some withdrawal monsters waiting to jump out at me from the shadows?

No monsters, I'm happy to report.  But I had to use benedryl for about a week or so til my sleep returned to normal.  And there were times when I felt anxious, sometimes irritable, but nothing major.  Everything just sort of smoothed out.  So, my friend, it sounds like you're past the withdrawals for the most part.  The physical ones anyway.

Keep it up and keekp posting!

Well wishes...

S.

Hi.... keep on mind that this is not a straight forward road without bumps... you are going forwards but with peaks and downs, more like a mountain... you will still experience some of the symptoms for some time.. problems with sleeping, bouts of anxiety, depression, feeling tired, lack of motivation... the mental battle is tough, just be ready and keep walking CONGRATS on your 5 days !! well done, the worst of the physical wds are past
