SUB-Started at 16mgs on Jan 2nd...Will be down to 4mgs on Sunday....What should I expect?

I know that I still need the drug to not feel withdrawl. Although 5 days out of the week, I walk out the door in the morning without taking my dose because i don't feel sick and it slips my mind. Needless to say, I am going to be done to 0mg around Jan 1. To those who have come off sub....is there any discomfort? I am trying to plan around work, if I am going to need a couple days off. I plan to taper down to 1mg for a week, then nothing. Any thoughts?

I'm doing the same thing. Just make sure whatever you do, DO NOT TAKE any more than you did the previous day. I think they call it spiking. I think you'll be fine following their advice. So it will take an extra week or two. I was going to jump too, but decided to give myself a break and take it a little slower. I was only on 4 mgs of sub for five weeks. I can only say watch what you read, there is alot of really scary stuff on the net. Only allow yourself to remember the positive, it helps.

i have watched people come off and they do the little crumbs like sunny said...get down really low and jump off...good luck

I also think you shouldint jump off at 1mgs like mary said you should get down to the smallest crumb.....I jumped off at 2 mgs and had bad w/ds for almost two weeks and still have some minor thing after six weeks and if i could do it over again i would have done just what mary said.....Good Luck

I think 1mg is still to high to jump off of.  I would get to the littlest crumb, then take it everyother day, then every third day etc...  You will most definately have some withdrawal coming off 1 mg. Sorry I don't know how bad or how long it will last.  I am on sub and down to that tiny crumb.  Will be going to everyother day soon. Hope it goes well for you.

I really dont know anything about what you may experience with subs but i'm sure others on here will be able to help you soon! Sorry i couldn't help you but i wish you all the happiness and strength to get through this!
