Hello...You are doing GREAT....Just keep it up..It sounds like when you do something to re-direct your self you do real well..I really do believe that is the key..Like ricart always says.."Get some Exercise"....I did in my first 40 days real hard..Of course my doc was Methadone...Yak!!! Have you looked into some aftercare..Support Groups?
Keep on Trucking forward..

awesome. just keep it up and you should be feeling better soon. When you get feeling better don't let your mind trick you into thinking it wasn't that bad.Don't go back. You're doing great ! :)
108+ hours.... Actually slept pretty good last night. Even tho my restless child was in bed with me! Come on energy!
Still here... Still going at about 89 hrs. Very sluggish but MAKING myself get up and do things.... I honkk can... I think I can...
I've been on vicodin for about 3 months. Went cold turkey. Intense muscle and joint aches, as well as sleeplessness only got worse every day for 8 days, and got so bad I wished I could die. That eve the pain got far betr and I was able to sleep. By the next morning I was miraculously completely bwtr. Thank God.
cool!! that's the way to do it. You are doing more than I would be at 72 hours. The busier you stay the easier it will be and the faster it will get better.
Thx guys... Will def look into group options as well as reading material... Currently 73+hrs! I made myself go outside and wash my car. Then made my self go out to dinner with my family tonight. Def sore but I will not give up!
hi casey if you go to the top of the page and hit post a question you will have a thread dedicated to you.lots of people here have been where you are and would be glad to help. You can do it and get your life back. That is no small habit but it still can be done. What are your options as far as treatment goes?
Would it be possible for you to go to rehab? anyway start your thread and tons of people will support you here
Help!! I feel like I'm going to kill myself if I don't stop!! Everyday I push more & more!! Up to 12-14 30mg oxycodons a day!! I have a long story of how I started!! Why bother to tell it. Rather focus on talking about HOW to ween myself off..even as I write this I want to do more!! Wtf!!! Anybody, HELP!! Any suggestions of how?? What's the correct way to ween off ????
I think you should be feeling better any day now.I would watch the zanax though because it always seemed to me that when I took any benzo to ease withdrawal,it always took extra days to feel better.Try to get some light exercise.Great job and good for you for getting off of these pills! I am sure you are a great mom. Keep up the fight and hang in there. It's worth it
Hi Do you know any of the information regarding the "Disease of Addiction and the Pleasures Pathway" It is some great information..Besides giving it to my God and going to Meetings, I find this information gives me some fine turning into my own self..I am into 7m and wake up sometimes playing the tape back in the brain..It is very powerful and the Drugs took over this survival part of the brain for many, many years..I heard a saying here once on this site..." Just because the Monkey if off your back does not mean the Circus has left Town" I just love that saying...So you just hang tight..Fight that demon..Ok keep us updated...
God Bless You
vickie.
Thanks all... I keep telling these damn craving NO... Sometimes its a minute at a time. I was using about 3 months
Hi..I just wanted to give you some support. It sounds like you are aware of all the signs, and like YesLife said I think you might be coming around..We do not know you medical condition so the time frame varies from person to person..I do know from my experience that weakness and sleep seem to be one of the last stages..It can also come and go some time after..You are doing a very good job..Just come back if you need to know what will help in whatever stage you are in. Support from meetings would be a good one for you at this time....Since you are having cravings too!!!!
God Be With..

Oh...and cravings seem to be pretty intense for a while. As you develop new routines, they get less and less, so that eventually you notice that you have gone most of the day without thinking about pills. Whatever you do, don't give in to them. One is too many and a thousand isn't enough. You don't want to, nor do you have to go through this again. It gets worse each time.
Hi and Welcome! You have made a very good decision. You didn't say how long you been taking them, so that may play a part in how long your wd process is. Usually after about 72 hours it starts easing up and then each day gets better. The low energy and depression can hang around for a bit, so stick around here for support. Do you have any other after care lined up?
Oh and of course having cravings like crazy!!!!
