day 4 tapering vicodin, i know its a small step but i feel really good about it

i have cut my pill intake by half already!! i am real effin tired tho. Im not sleepin all that great either, it feels  kinda like ive been sleeping for a long time but when i look at the clock it has only been a few minutes. I have to go to work in about an hour, i have been taking mad vitimins over the pst few days too. i think they are helping, i cant really tell. I am not really in a bad mood but man i really just do not feel like getting ready for work.

Can anybody else that has tapered please let me know how they did it? I dont know if im cutting back to much at one time or not enough? i started at 10 a day and was at 5 yesterday at day 3.

thank you so much for the encouragement. i can not explain how good it feels knowing that i have people that are or have been in the same place as me rooting me on and sharing their expierence/knowledge about going thru this. i never thought a forum full of "strangers" could ever help me feel so empowered and hopefull. it is awesome to know i am not alone in this, so THANK YOU.

Hello. You should be so proud of yourself. I've never had experience with vicodin until recently after surgery. It helped me understand how people can get addicted to them. Its to bad they can't prescribe them as an antidepressant. I'm no expert but I'm sure the lack of energy and sleeplessness..all the physical side effects you're feeling is normal. Keep up the good work..it will be worth it.
