Senses returning

I'm not sure if this has been asked, but I am sure it has, for I can not be alone in it...
When getting off the pills, was anyone else's sense of smell TIMES TEN???
I smell things that no human could possibly smell. I mean, it is as if a super human strength has taken over!
It's not pleasant, even if it is a smell I normally love. It all seems so ...HARSH. I can taste the smells too. I am sure it is normal, due to repressing all senses for so long, but OMG! Enough already!

Yup, I remember that! Also my sense of taste, all I could drink was water because everything was too strong. I normally love Monster energy drinks, I can't drink them at all because of the taste, and I can smell it across the room!
