Are you ok? Is your heart still doing that? I had really bad anxiety when I quit too. I felt this sense of overwhelming dread come over me, and stick to me like a wet blanket. I know what your going through, but you not alone, I know you can do this. 2 weeks tops for the physical. You've been sick for two weeks before haven't you? Just don't go back whatever you do, it could be harder to quit next time, or you might not have a chance to quit next time. People die from this taking to many pills all the time. We love you, and we're all pulling for you right now. I think the advil PM or Tylenol PM is a great idea, get some rest. But if your not going to the doctor, please let us know how your heart is. Another idea is you could call 911 and tell the ambulance driver as soon as he gets there that your an opiate addict, and that you can not have any narcotics. They could listen to your heart and let you know if it is life threatining or not.
I had severe panic attacks causing chest pain also, I dealt with it with Advil PM to put me to sleep, hot baths and music. See a doctor to rule out any underlying problem, but I'm sure it's just anxiety/panick attacks.
Try not to think about it as withdrawls, think of it as the flu. You wouldn't freak out about having the flu, would you? You'll get through this, don't panic. Relax. Put some head phones on and listen to soft music. Take some long, deep breaths. And think of how good you will feel soon. I don't really know if that will help, but give it a try. I just really want to hear another person has gotten through the hell. Keep going no matter what. You'll be ok, I promise. Keep in touch.
Your friend, Magi
not taking any vitamins b6 makes me sick i dont know why just does...drininkg gatorade but not eating all day i cant stand the thought of food right now figured that one out while i was cooking dinner for the kids lol its like its fluttering like every 5 mins or so maybe its because i know tommorrow is gonna be so bad anticipation i suppose but i did think id be alot sicker by now but i guess i have so much meds in me its gonna take a while to start withdrwaing real bad just have shaky hands ,diareah, back pain, sweating and fel like poop..im not short of breath or anything heart is not racing just dread i guess love ya
Are you taking vitamins? Anything else to help with withdrawls? Drinking enough fluids? Overdoing any vitamins etc? Chances are its anxiety. Take it easy and calm yourself. Soak in a hot bath and relax. When I was going thru withdrawls, I would have alot of occasions where my heart would suddenly start beating really hard, like it was going to blow up, and I would feel out of breath. It was anxiety attacks. I would get them sometimes for no reason (I thought). Went to an N/A meeting and got one. LOL But those to have disappearred. Hang in there. Let us know how your doing.

I experience the same "skipped beats" while going through detox, most notably when in the middle of a severe panic attack. FOR ME it wasn't a problem, but only a Dr. can tell you if its a problem for you.
Depression - likely but not definitely. The worst thing you can do (easy for me to say) is worry about what's coming up. Try to relax - there's gold at the end of this rainbow.
im 32 yrs old and ive nver had this until today so thats why im thinking withdrawal symptom i have had panick attacks in the past if i go see a dr now the only thing i would ask for would be more pain pills sorry just honest is it true that depression might be in my future also ? ive saw hat alot on here and was just curious
I, too, had anxiety, panic attacks, etc., but I wouldn't mess with a heart actually skipping a beat, and I wouldn't rely on anything said on a forum re: this besides "see a doctor".
The amount your w/d from may cause high-anxiety, which in turn could cause palpitations. Happened to me during detox. Thought I was having a heart attack. I had to learn to control the fear and slow my heart down...
See a Dr. Hearts skipping beats is not a normal part of withdrawal.
