Thank you all for your comments. I'm actually day 8 off the fentanyl pain patch. So, I wasn't taking the vicodins on a regular basis until I came off the patch. I will have to add potassium to my supplement list. Because I followed the post on the health pages for RLS and to no avail...I still suffer. Mostly at night but sometimes during the day. It's horrendous!!!
I know how you feel, I laid in jail for 7 days with no sleep due to RLS, but when I started taking in large amounts of potassium when I was released it subsided. Vicodin withdrawals come hard but leave faster than Methadone, which is what I quit cold turkey 2 weeks ago. I'm sure you know all this, and everyone's experience is different but the physical stuff was the easy part for me. It's the depression that I can't bare.
Just know that there's lots of great people on this forum that have been through what your going through, and they really care.
Good Luck.

I'm here with you, it's 0436, day 7 no vics and I did sleep about 6 hours, but I take 1mg klonopin every night for fibro and I take mirapex for RLS -- the vicodin also helps with RLS but the mirapex works better I promise...I get it in my legs, hips and arms and I just want to scream.......see if you can get some samples of that or requip bcuz even with insurance they are expensive. You can get through it - it will get better, oh, just remembered...mirapex.com offers a 1 month free supply coupon on the web, with your dr's rx either written or called in, just take coupon to pharmacy - Good luck and hope you get some decent sleep!
