Stomach Pains

So, it has been two weeks of no pills and I am off of all the detox meds except a very small dose of phenobarbitol which I took the last of yesterday.  My question is -- my stomach has really been bothering me -- pains and bloating...gassy and all that fun stuff.  I had blood work done and I know I am okay but I jsut dont know why I still have this problem.  It seems to feel this way all the time.  Does anyone have any idea why this is happening or what could remedy it?  Similar experience.  I was taking Norco 10/325...about 20 - 30 a day for awhile.

My stomache was a mess from taking different scripts for 4 years continuously.

when i quit i started taking probiotics (good bacteria) because the scripts had killed most if not all. Unbelieveably, my stomach is finally back to normal. I can eat anything now.
It took about a month or less. The only good ones are the refrigerated ones you buy.

hope you are feeling better soon.

If it goes on much longer  have a doctor check it just to be on the safe side .Our abuse can be very hard on our body . Pills tend to mask problems we have had ....

Thank you sarah, nicde to hear from you too..I have been busy trying to conquer outpatient.  I kept putting it off and as I told joann last night, I finally went yesterday and the only other patient there (becasue of the holiday) was this outrageously good looking guy and I just couldnt imagine having to bear my soul in front of him and only him (well and the counselor). SO, I bolted and now I have to go back and deal with him and whoever else on Monday.  I swear this time around has been so hard. It is such a struggle, wasnt like this before...but maybe thats a good thing

Without going into too much detail...my stomach has never been the same since the opiates... I think it is fairly common....but I can't answer why. Someone will come along who can explain the why's of this one! :)

Congrats on your 2 weeks that is great! I am proud of you!
