I want to know and experience firsthand what people affected with Vicodin went through. In my naivete, ignorance and yes, arrogance, I want to go through it and out of it and share with all of you how I did it, my success story, which I expected. after this experiment.

There was this i 1 guy her in the uk. ( I hope your reading this ishter ). He thought he'd do an "experiment". With herion, You see he'd seen people inject then flot of & was hooked on that. So to feel like that he done an "experiment" to get a habit & then show how easy it is to beat. All the while day's,month's went by & he filmed it all. In the end he died of an overdose. The film "documenory" didn't show that bit. It couldn't. He wasn't there to film it.
Is that the lengh's your willing to go to isher all in the name of an "experinent"
If so feel free.

Your "experiment" would be like a card I brought once for a friend sobering up from alcohol.(I was her sponsor) It was a picture of a person holding a T.V above thier head. It said, I will drop this on my head one more time and if it hurts, I will stop.

i agree with most. such a silly thing to say-as if taken lightly-which this addiction is nothing of the sort. i struggle everyday. i know that i am a good person who makes good decisions, but for some reason the power of this particular drug takes over innocent people. it happens without even knowing it. it's not a game, and in fact, it is a serious problem. it is terrifying-to be alone, and feeling as if your insides are being ripped out, fever, headaches, vomiting, diarrhea,depression..etc.
all because a doctor says, take these everyday and your pain will diminish. what they fail to mention ins that your life will wither away along with that pain. eventually, causing more pain than anyone could ever even imagine. i have no known genetic dispositions to addiction, nor do i have an addictive personality-with the exception of cigarettes. i am a happy guy, social, hard-working, intelligent honors graduate-who got into two major car wrecks. years later, i'm addicted to roxicodone. all of us here are experiments enough for you. the pain and sadness we all share is enough to go around, so no need for you to dive into such a sick program just to "see" what we are going through. trust is a beautiful thing, and believe me when i tell you, trust every single wonderful person on this board. it's a living nightmare-a prison we all are trying to free ourselves from. don't ever compromise your's just to "see" what we are talking about. you have valuable things to offer us here. sober people are people we admire and aspire to be. your strength and good choices are what we look up to.

Am NOT going to experiment with Vicodin, now or anytime in the near future. am frightened enough, and will take all of your words for it. It was stupid, and irresponsible.
But I did drain the friggin soda and chewed the mentos. Seemed harmless enough. Not to mention a fresher breath as a result.

go for it .......if you want to experience what hell is really like. That would be a very foolish experiment. And, painful. I don't think you really want to do this. Try putting mento's into soda if you want to experiment.
