Suboxone WD's

Hey everyone. So I havent really found any really comprehensive testimonials about the wd that comes after an extended usage of suboxone, perhaps because it is so new.... I have been taking boxin for about 2 years now as a substitute for an oc and perk addiction. I never confronted a doctor about any of this, which is ironic since the doctor prescribed me bottles of perks when I was 14 and got my wisdom teeth out. Now I'm 24, and have been a daily user (need it rather then want it) for at least 4 years or so... I have been purchasing large batches of suboxone from various friends/acquaintances. My daily usage is approx. 2 mg in the morning, and 2 mg at night. However recently I got a new job in another city, and decided not to bring anything with me, so I would have no choice but to quit. After a rapid one week ween, I have now been completely sub free for 2 days.
This definetly *****, but I really feel like its not as bad as some of my previous attempts. I think that the wean helped a bit, and I also took 2 days off work which I feel guilty about... My fear is that I have not been through the worst yet. I have heard that the halflife is much longer then most opiods and that often people have long standing psychological disorders including paws and years of sleeplessness. I am not sure what to believe since this has all be anectodal evidence. Does anybody know what I should expect in the few days or weeks to come? I have been doing everything right except for exercise and. I have been taking tylenol cold and flu as well as nyquil and immodium. Taking hot showers helps. I do feel sorta restless though. Sometimes I can help but get up and move... I am familiar with the thomas recipe but how the hell am i supposed to get clonodine and xanax or valium without my brand new doctor thinking im a junky. Frankly I dont give a **** what he thinks, but I dont want this stuff ever coming back to me. any words?

whats up everyone. So it has now been close to 72 hours since my last dose of .5 mg of suboxone. I am still feeling fine. hrsebz you said your wd didnt start until day 4. This is a scary idea. I'm actually going to work today after two days off so thats gotta count for something? Theres a ton of absolute horror stories on here about suboxone wd... I am not feeling it. If I am still good tomorrow morning Im'a chalk up the win.

The biggest complaint I have is anxiety in the pit of my belly.  It's totally bearable though....nothing like quitting the percs.  I feel FREE!  Yay!  You can do it!  I'm off of it for 15 days now! :)  GL

Sounds like your doing everything well and tolerating it well.  Everyone is differnet.  Many people like myself had some really severe and intense sub withdrawal experiences; while lots of others had a mild withdrawal experiences.  I know for me, after 2 years of being on, jumping off at 1mg, my sub withdrawal started the hour after I missed my dose, but started to feel real bad around day 2.  I did it also without clonodine or benzos either... If your not feeling that bad, then count blessings and hope for the best!  Regardless, you can beat it.  I have heard a lot of it is mental, so try not to expect the worst but maybe prepare yourself in case.. keep posting and let us know how you do.  Sharing your sub experience will be very helpful to others who come to this site seeking as much real life experience as they can get.  Take care and good luck!
