I'm so sorry i dont have an answer for you pattie and even more so then that your dr doesn't seem to care enough to get you the help you really need and truly deserve. Ive only been taking it a year or two off and on and pretty much everyday for the last 6-8 months. I take 2mg a day like you only i obtain mine illegally but for the same purpose of quitting opiates. But i like you, already feel like its sending me to an early grave. Where it use to be a heavensend an answer to my prayers it is now the bane of my existence. It use to give me energy and take away all the cravings and make me want to enjoy life again and actually made me enjoy life again. Then came the decline in my health. Elevated liver enzymes, this cloudy almost crazy feeling in my head. Every task became so daunting and tiresome, everything lost its interest and my body just felt like it no longer had the ability to function and perform normally. We need to get this drug off the market. It lures you in with feelings of invincibility and normalcy while it slowly eats away at your mind and body. There is not enough research being done on the long term effects of it and because of that Dr's are prescribing it incorrectly, because they get paid a ton to do so, and we're the ones left hurting. Let this serve as a warning: IF YOU TAKE SUBOXONE STOP IMMEDIATELY!!! HOPEFULLY YOU WILL NEVER EXPERIENCE WHAT PATTIE HAS BUT YOU WILL THANK HER FOR BEING BRAVE ENOUGH TO VOICE HER STORY SO THAT YOU DIDN'T!!! BECAUSE I'VE ONLY MERELY HAD A GLIMPSE AND THIS IS TRULY A HELL THAT KNOWS NO DEPTHS! So thank you pattie and I'm sorry we don't have answers yet but maybe one day we will and maybe one day you can live again. Really live again, suboxone free, chain free, free from the drug that enslaved you for 14 years. So there's my challenge! For patties sake, for the rest of us sufferings sake, lets find the answers. Lets find the way to break the cycle of suboxone addiction and abuse and lets all reclaim our freedom!!
