Suboxone users I need advice!

I'm currently looking to get off methadone. I will have my insurance back this commingup month. But problem Is it will be state insurance. (medicade) do basically I have heard that they do not and will not cover suboxone and if they do you will need to be in rehab? I'm so confused. I cannot use methadote anymore I'm so sick of it and broke. I'm getting it off the street. Also which scares me to come clean to my dr seeing as I am a new mother. And I do not want cps involved at all. These things are holding me back greatly. I have tried to quit multiple times and see this as my last option. Help please?!?

Your telling my story. I couldn't taper. I bought my 100-200mg daily methadone on the street and felt bad even when I had plenty. After a couple of years, I decided to go with subtext(same effect as suboxone). My doctor gave me 150mg norco for 4 days, went cold turkey for three days, and took the subutex when the vomitting stopped for long enough. I laid down and waited in agony. In 30 minutes, I felt normal. Withdrawals gone and craving. I started taking as many of the items in the Amino Acid Protocol and Thomas recipe at the bottom right of this page a week before my last methadone dose. I'm on day eight and haven't even considered going back to methadone. My mind is clear, it's weird actually. I have forgotten what normal is. Telling your doctor is a good idea if your serious and ready. Tell your dealers and I even told my 8 and 10 year old what was going on. I've gone to an AA meeting every night for 6 days and have hope for the first time in years. My wife is beginning to believe in me again. CPS is scary, but I was going to die if I didn't get better. I thought I needed medicine because I was sick, but I was sick because of the medicine. I'm going to taper the subtext starting tomorrow after my doctors appointment. I want off all chemical within 3 months. I hope this helps in some way. Keep us posted.
