how bad is it?

I have been on pain medicine for the most part of 8yrs. and I really would like to know if I took them as prescribed ,sometimes less, and i took them for pain not pleasure, Will I have the same withdrawl symtoms as someone who has abused them? I really want to stop them, I try to feel the pain i started with, so that i never really took what they told me to. Like right now, I get them 4x's a day but I will only take 2-3 a day. I always thought if i allow myself to "feel the real pain" daily I would ok. As in I wouldnt be addicted. I am starting to see that I was horribly lying to myself. Im going to stop, I just am scared of whats going to happen to me?, If I should be getting help to do it?, Im barely making it money wise and cant afford a facility type stay. Does anybody know about that IV amino acid I been reading about and how available is it?

r u in a situation that your parents might be able to be with u that first week or perhaps tell work u have like the flu or soemthing so u can stay home? mabye a freind could check in on you? i mean you'll be ok but U might not understand that the first week and its crucial to have someone telling u that it will stop.

the vitamins u need arnt to exspensive. and u need vitamin water, which is on sale alot at the market lately.

o ya if u start sneezing all crazy - like always after this, im pretty sure that happens to us all -
for some reason no opiates anymore=sneezing a lot

i keep a thermometer handy each day just to make sure i'm not acutaly sick and its the WD's

and it has been! no fever!
just be strong, u prolly wont have it as bad as most of us, but you'll def. get somekind of sick -
and if u dont sleep for days thats normal too - ok?
be strong, dont give up - its worth it.

im not sure, but i know u need some help or a freind to get through WD
im a rhumetoid patient ( young though ) with severe damage in my joints ( thats why i started taking huge amounts of opiates( perscribed) years ago

im at a month now and i'm still severly ill - BUT the only door u go through staying on the opiates.. will be heroin or death -
just check out the Thomas REcipe and if u have someone who can stay with u the first week that would really be a good idea.
after  a month of steady opiates ur addicted i think, so 8 years, ya none of us feel ' pleasure' at that point, we just take them to not get the withdrawls sickness

the only way out it to suffer the WD and just wait it out - im still waiting but honestly the 1st week was totally out of control so really if u dont have someone, keep posting on here and people who've been there can help talk u through the dark -
its really helped me and i havnt gone back to the Oxy  for a month now and i was on it for years ( and like 300 mg a day so it was like heroin)

remember be strong, the withdrawls can't kill you - even if u think it might, it will not.
get the thomas reciped vitamins and take a crapload of hot hot hot baths w/epson salt.

if u can be strong the first week and really really just deal with it. you'll be ok - just remember once u take opiates for years theres no easy out, reguardless of why u take them. the answer for us all is to go through withdrawls and make it out a clean better person who's able to finally get those opiate handcuffs off!

be strong and keep posting.
dont take more
you'd jsut have to start all over again w/ the sickness.
get it over with now!
