To contiune- About Sunday I threw up and it looked like black thick stuff with dark red blood. So back to the freaking hositpal I go. The doctor took blood and told me the blood work was NORMAL. The doctor sent me home b/c he could not find any cause for the blood and black stuff. Anybody can tell how I am feeling right about now. No doctor can tell me why I am throwing this stuff up.

I will be seeing my suboxone doctor on wed-in 2 days. I am going to let him know I have been sick for almost 5-6 weeks. The first 3 weeks I would throw up everyday, Because I was consipated all the way up to my ribs, I could never eat much, b/c my bowels were so backed up it would not let me eat much, then my stomach would hurt. In the morning I take my am meds and 20-30 mins I would be in the bathroom throwing up. I did go to my primary doctor and he took an x-ray and told me how backed up I was and put me on lacitives and a pill you put under your touge. He also put me on a powder lacitive you mix in juice. While a week later I was throwing up and it looked like coffee grounds. I went to the E.R. right then and they addimted me to hositpal. When I was in there I had an IV and fuilds through it and the doctor order me npo=nothing by mouth. It was that way for 2 days, and doctor also had me drink a colon prep (1 gallon of liquid) and it worked somewhat. I was released on saturday. I went in on thur.
After that They said all test were normal, so doctor sent me home. By this time I though I was getting better. My doctor ordered a scope where they go through your mouth, and found nothing wrong, but took biopes of my stomach and I still have not heard anything about that. So I am at home and 5 days later I am throwing up again and notice there is bright red almost a dark pink blood color and thick black stuff that i throw up. Still have no clue what is going on w/ me. And in all of this stomach stuff I catch a cold and I am green when I cough and blow my nose. Anyway, I am feeling pretty shity. No doctor has figured out why I am throwing up bloodly looking stuff.

Vomiting blood is serious.  Even if you are no longer vomiting, you could still be bleeding inside.  PLEASE go to an ER - and don't wait!  A friend of ours developed the same symptoms a couple months ago.  He ended up in the hospital having half his blood volume transfused due to an esophogus bleed.  Years of alcohol fried his esophogus, stomach and liver.  Even without alcohol, there are many other things that can cause a gastric bleed.  Hope you'll be OK.

From what I understand about the rules of this forum, we are not allowed to give medical advice. However, if you could describe your symptoms, and how long they have been going on, myself, or someone else with "experience" in the medical field, could help you out by not giving you any medical advice. Whatyou would need to describe is, the frequency of your bloody emesis. What color it is. What it looks like. (bright red? Dark red? Clots? Does it look like coffee grounds? Etc.) Also, other than opiates, have you had problems with any other substance. I.E. Alcohol. Were you/are you a heavy drinker? I don't mean to be blunt, but bloody emesis is not a common side effect of suboxone, and there could be a number of reasons for it. If you do not wish to elaborate on any of this stuff, my best advice would be to see a doctor as soon as you can.

I'm not a dr....but I'm gonna say no. I've been on Subs for 4 yrs now, and I've definitely encountered some nausea-but nothing involving puking blood. Are you okay? If you could elaborate, we may be able to help.;)
