Some of the withdrawls experienced from Ultram are from the fact that Ultram raises your serotonin levels.. so he makes some sense with the Zoloft.. except that it takes time to work.. I would try a supplement form of serotonin since it works faster.. like 5HTP you can't take this with the zoloft so you would have to choose. But that will work alot sooner than the zoloft..
are you out of Ultram?? If not can you taper down your dose first before stopping?? If I were you I would get another doc one that is willing to help.. I would also use the search engine on this site and search for posts about Ultram and tramodol and read what others have done
Be careful with the clonidine. the usual dosages are .1 mg every 8 hours or so. If they are the .2mg ones, then you need to cut them in half. They will drop your BP. Save the clonidine and klonopin until you need them...if you do. Most people have most of their troubles at night...so it may be best to save them for that time! Keep us posted!
Thanks you guys.. This site has been a tremendous amount of support. I took down the ingredients for the Thomas recipe, and I do have Klonpin and about 5 clonodine that a friend gave me for the process if needed. I only have 5 Ultram left, so I should know by tomorrow how the ride will be. Already experiencing the runny nose, hot flash/cold sweat anxiety attacks... pphhhffftttt......
The goal, abundant drug free vibrant health, may it be so for us all.
Thanks.

the zoloft worked for me in as little as 5 days. amazing. i love it.
First of all, the Zoloft can take time to work...up to 30 days or more in some cases. So, I don't know if it's going to stave off immediate withdrawals. the Daypro (new drug to me) is just an anti-inflammatory from what I can tell. So, there's really nothing that will keep you from feeling the withdrawals, if they happen. You're taking a low-moderate amount of Tramadol, so the withdrawals could be nothing, moderate...or even possibly severe. We're all different in how we react to medications. If you start feeling really bad, you may want to continue to taper off the Ultram over a period of days. I'm afraid I'm just not much help. It's just that there's a lot of uncertainties. Look on my profile page. There's a ton of information I've placed there. It will give you a heads up on what to look out for and how to deal with some symptoms. God bless and keep us updated.
Heres what I found...
Daypro is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug used to relieve the inflammation, swelling, stiffness, and joint pain associated with rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis (the most common kind of arthritis)
Hi, 7 50 mgs. for past week, prior up tp 12-15 ad day for 2 years..
I don't have a clue really. Only you will be able to answer that. You should be having wd's soon if they're gonna happen. What is your daily dose of Ultram?
Welcome.. How long have you been taking Ultram?? And how many per day?? depending on that you will probably at least have some withdrawls even with those meds.. Unfortunately some docs don't realize that Ultram is a opiod.... they only know what the drug manufacturer tells them.. YOu should find some articles about it being a narcotic and that people DO in fact have withdrawls and take it to him or you should get another doc to help you get off of it..
