You will become dependent on suboxone. I wouldn't say it is 'addictive' the way our drugs of choice are. By that, I mean, in my experience, I don't crave the sub, I don't get high off of it, I don't have cravings for my DOC, I don't want to get high, and using doesn't consume my every thought anymore.
I will say this: If you are seriously considering Suboxone therapy, find a reputable psychiatrist who is an addiction specialist. If you are serious about quitting, you'll do what they require: usually 12 step meetings or an aftercare group at LEAST weekly, random drug screens, and monthly appointments for your next month's supply. Get it legally, and do it right.
Sobriety is about being responsible for our actions, and that means taking responsiblity for your life AFTER detox......RECOVERY! It is a lifelong commitment, but has many more rewards than getting high every day and loathing what you have become.
yes if u can not do suboxone then dont
