Surgery and then final withdrawl

Hey everyone.  I see a lot of new names/faces on here and that is great to see:)  Well, I am scheduled for my second surgery on my shoulder on Monday.  I am not looking forward to it but it gets me closer to getting off the pills for the third and final time.  I am tired of having to keep going through this but I have been trying to keep my attitude positive.  At least the road rash has disappeared and my ribs are much better so breathing is much easier.

So expect to see me back on here in a week or two while I go through my final withdrawal.  Please keep me in your thoughts.  Its been a really tough summer since the accident but seeing all those making it is such a wonderful thing:)  I cant wait until that is me!!!

Love to all-
Overeasy

Goodluck with your upcoming operation. But, please dont make it a reason to ABUSE,yes abuse is not taking the minimal amount of medication. The second thing, have you explained to your dr.your chemical abuse problem. Say oxycontin is your drug of abuse, then get someother hopefully a non-addictive form of pain killer. We as addicts dont tell the whole-Truth,as we fear if we do.The dr.wont give us drugs to abuse,or He/SHE may dispense daily, and for a shorter period of time. Not all serguries require Strong Pain-meds    Most people like the (HigH) weather in pain,or not. Think about it.

Good luck with your surgery!!  I know how much multiple surgeries can take it's toll.  Will your doctor help you taper off when it's time to get off?
