Norco contains tylenol and hydrocodone (another form of vicodin but with less tylenol.
Percocet con  tains oxycodone.  You didn't state the milligrams of either drug.  But you can easily (even under a Dr.s supervisision) develop a physical addiction to either...I currently have a Rx for 5 mg norco, was being prescribed 10mg but they were making me too tired and NO i wasn't abusing them.  personally, I think Percocet is a stronger, higher class narcotic.  You should really ask your doctor or a pharmacist.  I don't know what other active ingredient Percocet has in it but it does not contain tylenol.  Both have the potential for abuse and addiction.  The Norco 5 mg that I have an Rx for (for pain), does not work at all,
ibuprophen or aleve do a much better job and you wouldnt run the risk of physical or psychological addiction, both which could basically ruin your life, lead to harder, street drugs, etc.  I'd stay away from both, from all narcotics, actually. There are other ways you can discuss with your md to deal with pain.
