I am now at 38 hours, and so far WD's are not near as bad as past times even though my dosage is (was) higher this time around. I was averaging 80-100mg of percs and norco and vics a day, whatever was the flavor of the day. But this WD session so far is not that bad. There are a few things I am doing differently this time:
1. I'm much more prepared with vitamins and especially POTASSIUM tablets --these are really removing most all RLS.
2. Reducing stress down to almost zero by taking a week off work and telling loved ones to leave me alone for a few days. This lower stress is helping a lot.
3. I am eating --when I can eat -- more protein and less carbs and sugar. I think this is keeping energy levels a bit higher. Anyone heard of this --the food I am eating is like skinless chicken and broccoli, eggs and bacon, but no toast, salads, etc, etc. NO SUGAR AT ALL. Anyone else tried this diet while on WD? Did it help like it seems to be helping me?
