Suboxone Withdrawal Questions

I have been on suboxone for about 3 years now. Started at 20mgs and have gone down to a little less than 2mgs a day now. I really want to be off everything, but the scariest part of it all is that I really have no idea what or how long the withdrawal is going to be like. I troll all kinds of forums but it doesnt seem anyone who has actually gotten of subs ever posts details about their experience. How long will it last? What am I in for? Any advice will help so much!?!

Yea I see from what ive read on here the overwhelming majority say the lower the dose of the taper the better the w/d symptoms. I am hoping to go off completly sometime in June as I have June and july off work. I am gonna try to get down to at least .5 by then. Thanks for your reply.

Hi ksnizzo Welcome to the forum. good job on the taper. you should continue your taper until you are down to slivers then make the jump. jumping at 2mg is doable but you would be in for a pretty rough wd. more will be on that have had first hand experience  I just wanted to let you know your post has been seen and to add my support.. lesa
