Thank you to everyone for the support. And yes I can say its DAY 4 of SOBER!
I called the DR and they said to bring in my son this afternoon and we would do the blood work. He is at school right now, and he is going to be so mad at me for doing it today, but it needs to be done now.
I cannot believe that I made it to day 4 and feel so much better and proud of myself. I can almost hold my head up high. NO SHAME

I agree with gizzy. It's such a rush when you realize that you are going to make it! I'm on day 17 but stopped counting after day 3 when I knew this was it!! Everyone is so proud of you and especially yourself. Great job on 4 days - that deserves to hold your head high! Be strong and have a great Christmas!

one of the best things about getting clean is beginning to hold your head up high. i have always thought one of the worst parts of using drugs was that unbelivable guilt and shame that we go to bed with and wake up in the morning with, hating yourself so much, but when that single beautiful moment arrives that you know in your heart that u will make it, that is the ultimate high, a rebirth if you will. good job on 4 days and you should be proud of yourself, it will only get better, stay strong. take care. ,
