8days CLEAN cant believe it!!!!!!

Hey guys just quick update have not posted in couple days. Today i have been clean 8days. I feel pretty dammm good also i was able to get about 7hrs sleep last nite finaly... Anyway to everyone on day one i know exactly how you feel what you wouldnt give to be on day 5,6,7,8 hell even day three for that matter. But believe me if i can be clean for 8 days pill free anyone can i was taking 8to12 10/325 percs a day i finaly got the point where pills were not enough and was truly considering just using (h) to get high.. The pills were not realy getting me high. That is when i had two choices start using h and go further and deeper into hell or start climbing my way out to freedom so i have been climbing my way out for 8 days now and it has been worth every little step ive taken i absolutley made the write choice this time l.o.l..  Please just hang in there it honestly truly absolutley does get better....

Yep! kyle505 is right!! Good Job on 8 days..But if you do have some mental ups & downs Just remember that this is all part of the process and it will pass..Keep Stepping up the Steps and do not fall backwards because that can really hurt! Och!

8 days is a milestone. This is the point where the body kick-starts; little by little things get better. Now you've really got to guard your clean time. The mental side of detox will be a struggle; your addict's mind starts talking to you, non stop. So be careful - there are many of us who've made it through the hell of physical detox only to be derailed by the mental struggle. BUT - many have been successful; add your name to that list.

that's great. 8 days. sorry im new to this. wat were you on? ???
ive been clean 8 years from coke and heroin.  but not easy!!!
it messed my life up so much. thing is. im still messed up. I get stupid panic attacks. i don't sleep so much. though the doctors have had me on just about every antidepressants out there. with no luck from them.

Thats exactly what it was a fork in the road!!!!!! But this isnt my first time clean i have been clean befor i have relapst gone thru w/d u name it what makes this time diff than the hundred times before and i should of put this in my post is i have come clean to everyone and anyone the secret is out i also have gone to two n.a meetings that is a miracle for mr and best thing ive ever done.. I have been working hard for these 8 days but every day i wake up clean and not the pill devils *****... ITS WORTH IT...

Let me one of the first to congratulate you!! What a fantastic post. 80 to 120MG a day and now your clean! You did it; and you got a good night's sleep!

Your story grabs me because you made it after you considered H at the "fork in the road" you finally arrived at. You got help instead. Thank God you took the road to recovery. I too considered trying to get something stronger. That's where it all ends up; jails, institutions and death. Whatever DOC we get, the buzz is only temporary, then we chase it to the bitter end, always needing more. We're addicted to more.  Glad you're here and not there!
