i would not worry, you will be fine, i would just not go there agaain...We have all done things like that..But usually if you have a new presription they fill it no matter what..I don't understand that part...They don't refill early, but they have to fill a new persription even if it is the same medication..
But try not to worry about it!!!
The DEA are people... They have a lot to do rather than get a small fry just starting out.... thousands of people doc shop and well If you are getting help don't even think about worrying about it because they are interested in people selling them on up... way up from you... If you did get a call... Just tell them what you are doing right at the moment. (nothings going to happen)
Ummm, I just had a great day/night at DisneyLand and Sub is the reason.
I have followed your story and will post to you tomorrow but it's 2 oclock and I still have to read Catuf's stuff and haven't cause it deserves better attention than I can give it Now.... talk at you tomorrow!
wait, are you saying that you changed the date of your birth on the prescription itself? Regardless, your doctor gave you a prescription that he intended for you to get filled today, right? I still don't understand why the pharmacy thinks it is their business to overrule the doctor. Pharmacies and insurance companies need to stay out of the doctor/patient relationship - maybe I only think that way because I am an addict, who knows. Try not to worry about it though, at least the entire town has not just discovered that you are a horrible person like what happened to me last week. I am sorry you are having to go through this, nobody understands better than me.
Love, Cindy
I put a # in front of my birthdate myself to make it a different date. AND I told them the same birthdate that I wrote. I don't know. The whole thing was just stupid.
I'm sure they didn't record you saying your birth date, they could have typed it in wrong. And if they did you could always say that you were in so much pain you were out of it. Or you could say that your SPECIALIST perscribed you pain meds, you were trying to get something different to wean yourself off and you didn't want to go through w/d. In the mean time go slow and taper. I'm sure nothing is soing to come of the scrpt
I am in HUGE trouble with my husband. Especially for the $ I paid for the script. What an awful day. I don't get the referral in the mail for 10 days. That's why the doc gave me a script. So I can make it until then. I will take this as a sign. Thanks guys. I will be posting a lot. I need your support now more than I ever did. (((Hugs))) Ggin35
Don't worry... you are probably in more trouble with your hubby than you will get in for the script.. it was a legal script.
However use this oportunity to stop the madness..stuff like this will continue to happen if you keep this up. Your doc may not be equiped to deal with an addict, he gave you a referall. USE IT.. CALL TOMORROW. Don't delay. THis is a sign. Take it.. and run with it... This is your chance.
I think they have a new law where they check your insurance info in the system whether you use the insurance to get the prescription or not. If you got it fillled somewhere else even if it's not a refill, if it's a controlled substance they won't fill it if they see you got the same dose narcotic and your insurance says it's too soon for them to fill it. That's why I gave them a different birthdate and address. So they couldn't find me in the system. I hope I don't get in trouble. I shouldn't have told my husband though cause I'm in BIG trouble with him. I was trying to get help. Now I REALLY know how bad I need it.
I know someone who has done stuff like this, and I THINK they have catch red handed???? I picked up a script for a friend and new it was something she called in for her self and they got me right there... on the spot...they let me go becouse they could not prove it was mine ( even though i used my credit card )becouse it was in her name.
I think you wiil be ok unless you used a credit card or check with your name on it.
NEVER MIND WHAT I JUST SAID....because yours is a lagit script...DAAAAH...... yea, im stupid LOL!!
Just some of my own experiance and my thoughts. anyway good luck
AJ
All they have is your name right? I doubt very highly that anything could come of this. The last thing you need to do is worry. Just get to the sub doc like the other ladies here said - and relax tonight. There is nothing more you can do right now. Just look forward to your recovery.
Take care,
Shelby
I am not sure why the pharmacies would not fill for you if you had written prescriptions? The only time they will tell you it is too soon is if you are trying to get something refilled, right? I really don't think you have too much to worry about since she did not use insurance and they obviously filled it, once it is filled, I doubt they think about it any further than that. I would probably not return to that pharmacy, did the RX they filled today have refills or something? Or was it a controlled like they used to call "triplicate prescriptions?" I know they do not call it that anymore since they do not come in three parts, but you know what I mean? Is that why you are worried? I have been through my own stress this week as a result of being stupid, stupid, stupid, so I can totally relate to your anxiety.
Love, Cindy
Ok honey....BREATHE.... its gonna be ok... get in with the addiction doc ASAP.. DOn't eat all your pills.... start tapering... anyway you can.. Your doc may not be certified to prescribe Sub... this will work out.. you are making a attempt to get help.
