Thomas Recipe

Thomas Recipe

So I've only posted once before and failed miserably at quitting. Ended up having a tooth pulled and getting a dry socket and am back where I started. To.morrow will be day one again and I want to get the absolute must haves of the Thomas recipe. What helps the most with mental aspect of wds? I really want to succeed this time but don't have tons of money to get everything. Any help would be great! Thank you...

For me it was the daily vitamin, fish oil tablets, b12 sublingual tablets and  the first couple of months I also took the samE.  Oh and valerian root and melatonin - the valerian for anxiety and the melatonin for sleep issues.

Stay hydrated (fresh juices, gatorade or water is good) - and comfort food in the house or bland stuff you can eat when eating is the last thing you want to do.  I found yogurt was good or oatmeal, and hot tea is good at bedtime it really does relax you.  Along with a TON of hot showers - those were huge for me too for relieving anxiety.

I think it's great that you're trying again - hang in there and good luck to you!  :)

Do NOT forget the Immodium...I promise it really helps with the opiate trots and seems to help with mood a bit.  If you can do the liquid or next choice the pills.  Don't go generic.

Hi and welcome.

I used a multivitamin, lots of gatorade, valerian root and kava kava during the first two weeks.

During the next two weeks I added in l tyrosine, l glutamine and ginseng to help with energy. But only when my anxiety was gone. The l tyrosine and ginseng added to my anxiety in the first two weeks.

Good luck!
