Please keep us posted on how you are doing when you get back.
I will not take suboxon. Im going to refuse that. And methadone. I don't want to trade one addiction for another. I know how I am. Hopefully they will allow me to refuse it. I would rather go cold Turkey and leave the facility.
ok good . i am glad you are doing this for yourself it will help take away much of the fear you had about the withdrawal.
they will most likely give you suboxone when you are there. they will monitor your bp and your vital signs.
please be forewarned that when you get home you will still have to completely detox. .most of the acute physical symptoms will be gone, but you will still be dealing with the anxiety, lack of energy and sleep.
i will be praying for you.please update us when you can.you can do this.think positive.

stay strong, im on day 13 from a 15+ day habbit of Norco's 10/325. Stay strong you will get through it. The anxiety will be there, I still have it but just try to be calm it will help. Take hot baths as that will help with the pain's your having. Good luck and stay strong you can do it, I have.
Debbie I did well with the taper however I cheated by supplementing the vicodin with tramadol. I'm feeling very tired mostly.
The councilor reccomended I go to an inpatient detox program. Its a bit far away but I've decided to go. I'm going home to pack a bag right now. I think this is the best route for me. Thankfully it's only 3 to 5 days and then I get to go home.
Thank you all for being there for me and I'll report back soon.
Stay strong I am now 12 days clean from a 15 Vic a day habit. You can do this after the first 4 to 5 days every day gets better and you will start to feel like you are gettting your life back. I'm not an expert on this but I have to say the past 12 days clean have been better than the past three years of being high. Good luck and keep in touch.

congrats on the taper you did well.
hi how did the taper go? how are you feeling? how are your withdrawal symptoms?
you are dioing great. the counseling will definitely help you. unless it is a psychiatrist counselors dont dispense meds. if you bp gets to high yes go to the er. please try to be calm, remember your fear will cause more anxiety than the actual detox.
i am praying for you
