i kept a bottle of tonic water on my nightstand and sipped it constantly.
horrible taste, but was worth the relief it gave.  never thought of mixing it with something,
reminds me of the taste of the stuff you drink to prepare for a colonoscopy. lol

Sorry just to add, i drink the brand "cocobella" coconut water everyday, its rich in natural electrolytes, potassium, calcium, magnesium, sodium and phosphorous.
We all differ with what works for us, but if your not eating correctly, pretty much any fatty or sweet food can set cramps off.
I dont know why, but not enough people take an omega 3 supplement, which also greatly reduces rls and cramps. I use it for arthritis.
Im no expert, but just giving you some more ideas : )

Hi, i just wanted to say, be careful of the orange juice, because of the high acid quantity, it can make RLS or cramps worse.
This is just my opinion.
My family suffers from rheumatoid arthritis and RLS, and the one thing we are told to stay away from is orange juice and tomatoes.. Well thats 2 things : )
Congratulations on day 7 !!!

I've been doing a lot of the baths. But today they are screaming, lol.
I'm a good addict always looking for something to keep me from feeling this way. I just need to feel what I'm feeling. I just had some very bad moments today but at least I'm not starting over.

Yes. A lot of people have. The quinine in Tonic Water is what relieves the leg cramps and restlessness. The potassium in orange juice also helps. Our bodies become depleted of minerals during withdrawal and from using. So replacing minerals makes you feel better. Also, magnesium gets depleted and we can replace that with diet and Epsom salt in the bath. The salts contain magnesium which will get absorbed by the muscles during the bath.

Haven't you tried this yet? I know I've mentioned it a lot...

Never heard but anything is worth a try. It won't hurt you.

I found those therms are things that are sticky and you can put thenm on your body worked good. I bought the generic ones too. Still do. I have bad RLS with pain from before the pills and I put one of those on and it helps a lot. At least for me.
