Been a long hard trip.....

Hi Everyone, I have been on and off on this site as well as on and off drugs. In case you don't remember me....I was trying to be a recreational user and it spiraled out of control. My husband gets prescribed Oxy and Vicoden for a disease he has called Dystonia. Well, he started locking up his pills which ended my addiction but then I got into his box and relapsed and then I quit again and then started using recreationally and then relapsed after I got into his box again. I also have chronic sinuitis and went to the doc to get a referral to an ENT and the doc put me on vicoden....oh great! So I am now clean off of oxy but I am still using vicoden but I only take about 15 mg per day. My ENT doc put me on prednisone and antibiotics and it makes me feel like **** and sick to my stomach and the only thing that makes me feel not sick to my stomach is the Vicoden. So long story short...I am working towards getting off the Vico once my 14 day regimen of prednisone is done. Should my withdrawals be bad? I was just telling my husband last night that this stuff doesn't even give me a buzz anymore and that i want to be done for good. Am I just tricking my mind with the 15 mg a day? Thanks all!

Oh yes it is. Especially if that is the dose you are used to. It depends. When I was taking my pills, I was taking Oxy 80's. And about 12 a day. So if I were to take only 15mgs, then I wouldn't need it and that mg would have done anything at all. So what was your dose before that 15mg? If it was 15 or less, then yes, it is most likely keeping you out of w.d.

Remeber the Graetful Dead song " what along starnge trip this has been"..well getting of of opiates is just that but you can do it i am 27 days clean today and feel alive again

Do I really need this 15 mg or am I just making my mind think that I NEED it and everything is ok because I am taking something? Is 15 mg even enough to do anything?
