Day 6 without hydrocodone

Today is my 6th day without hydrocodones and I still feel a little zoned out and I just want to be left alone, but other than that I feel great. Of coarse keep in mind I have only been on them for 6 months or less however I was at a point for the past 2 or 3 months where I was taking 20 or so a day. The first 3 days where horrible, but I did what I had to do and finally let my wife know that I had a problem. However for those wanting adivice on quitting, when I called my doctor and let him know of my situation he told me to take Benadryl (25mg) to help calm your down and Tylenol as needed during your withdrawl periods. I did this and it did help me. I hope this helps anyone else trying to break the habbit. Quit now before it owns your life. Good Luck.

Funny you mention that. I just could not get comfortable last night. My arms felt weird like they couldn't sit right. However I did buy a 2 a day multi vitamin and am starting my work out cycle today. And yes GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Titans. LOL. What are some of the lingering affects you speak of?

Great job on 6 days and congrats on getting honest with your wife and dr. You should be over the worst of the physical, but there are lingering effects after. It does take time to adjust again, but you will be back to 100% soon. Good thing you were not on them long, but even so your intake got up there fast, addiction is so progressive.

Now, does your screen name mean your a titans football fan or am I off? If your a titans football fan, then, BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, lol. Congrats on gettting clean dude. Are you sleeping ok?
