How do you treat withdrawals from Xanax 2mg @ home?

first taper down with the xanax to .5 or 1 mg, then switched to diazepam(valium), a longer lasting benzo. it will work i have done it successfully, dont give up youve started the hardest part

As bear said CT from is VERY dangerous ,it can cuase sezuire or death.You have to taper off.

Hopefully you are not quitting xanax "cold turkey"...very dangerous..you should get with your doctor/ER asap and be tapered off of them.  There is a real possibility of serious health repercussions from quitting any benzo cold turkey, including seizures and even death.  Perhaps someone else on here will know of some way to deal with the withdrawals but as I understand it is VERY dangerous to quit cold turkey.
