Well Friday Night I took a 5mg Methadone b/c my back was absolutely killing me, I didnt know they were Opiates, I thought they were Opiate Blockers but were addictive. Anyways I am not feeling WD's but I got to start back over on counting the days. So after a 4 year off and on habit of Oxycodone/Hyrdro Codone I quit last Saturday at 5pm. I am not realing craving anything but just have a big lack of energy and motivation, not feeling any other WD's, like I did early last week. I am hoping that the Methadone may have been the cause for the energy and not the WD's again. Besides that all is well and Intothedarkagain where are you bud? You doing ok? Jt how did today go?

This board is my meetings. I have been trying to help out Intothedark and JT as I have been helped by so many. I never took high dosages to be honest 5 mg still got me high, but my weakness I believe was the mental part. I am hoping my energies come back by the end of next week. I walk 1 mile each day and eat vitamins.

I only took one methadone 5mg. My addiction was Oxy Codone and I was 6 days clean on that.

it takes 3-5 days for methadone to leave the system.  So you won't experience any withdrawls until then.  Keep ur head up.  You can do it.  Methadone is a scary drug (FYI) It took me 4 weeks of intense withdrawl verses the normal 5-10 days......some people think it's worth it....I personally do not and want to make it clear to u that it's the hardest thing i've kicked.  And i've kicked oxy, hydro, dillauded, and even tramadol.  they were all much easier in comparison..at least in my opinion.....just be careful   and stay positive....your an inspiration to many others....all the best.
