Ultram!

Ultram!

I have never had any problems until two years ago! I have had severe back pain after having my daughter. I had complications and long surgery. So I have been on ultram for a long time. I still have a back problem but this dependency greatly bothers me. I want to stop taking them! I cant afford to be down for days or lack in taking care of my children. They are my life and the withdrawls are horrible.I cant believe I finally found people who understand me. This is a problem. I cant go to a rehab. I need advise on how to overcome this that wont affect my children and their care! Someone please give me advise!

I am on my 2nd day of withdrawal, it ***** but u can do it. Try the Thomas receipe. I'm also eating healthy right now, just nursing my body. Seems to be working also try lowering your dose leading up to cold turkey. I was quit using everyother day for a week, so my body has been getting ready for day 2,3 so on. I actually don't feel to bad right now. Not sure what it is, but that's what I did. Hang in there. Make sure to stay actve during withdrawal atleast walk outside once a day , this will release dorphines. Good luck. I will be here for you. I'm using forum to keep me busy.

Ultram needs to be tapered down.  There are risks of seizures if you go cold turkey.  Tramahater will be on at some point and will be able to give you more details as she came off this.  You can get your life back.  We are here to support you so lean on us.......sara

Hi!  I think you need to talk to your doctor about a taper plan.  You will still have WDs, but they won't be as bad as cold turkey!  There are things you can by OTC to help the symptoms and to be more comfortable.  Sleep and energy are the last things to return after you stop them completely.

You can do this!  I'm so glad you decided to get your life back!!! : )
