Vicoden/xanax

Ive been taking 5-6 750mg vicoden for 2 years and 1 1/2mg of xanax for about 5 yrs.. I have severe back pain and severe anxiety. I have recently noticed rapid weight loss and no apetite. Ive lost about 20lbs in a couple months and a pound daily. I am now concerned about liver problems.. history of kidney stones so i thought the pain was kidney stone related, but more now points to liver. I feel I need to stop tonight, and really scared for my health. im 26 yrs old with a family of 4. What are opinions and what do i do? I think i can handle detox from vicoden on my own.. but xanax?? ive tried to wean off of both but always return to same amount.. and i feel if i stop cold turkey then no more use will occur.. HELP TONIGHT

Suboxone, idk if u can read my pose but here it is :I'm not sure how long its been since you posted but any one reading this, suboxone is absolutley amazing I took vicodin,perx,norco all from the doc then needed more n more then after 4 yrs and 3-4 grand a month spent on a habbit it was fed up. Now my mistake was getting the suboxone on the street then taking too much bcuz I was not mentally prepared, so when I ran out I freaked out even though it had been over a month, then I was hospitalized and they put me on painkillers thru my iv, and as anyone knows the LAST thing any one wants to do is get sick I would rather DIE than get sick again, mentally emotionally and financially I became sick of it once again but this time after 6months our local methadone clinic began offering treatment for suboxone, as I would advise anyone to NEVER try methadone its worse than anything and u don't detox, its only about 350$ to start the treatment and that covers 3 visits and the script either film or pill, you don't get sick you don't withdrawl at all you can even break the pills into 6 pieces, I have a HIGH tollerance and was able to make my first 3pills last five days, most suboxone programs are not cheap but then again neither is buying pills by any means! Suboxone saved my life litterally I went from suicide and broke to just so much better in 48hrs, if you look on the suboxone website it will locate a doc for you as. Well as the toll free number they provide 24 hr assistance, I hope this helped someone somewhere, I didn't have help bcuz no one knew I was even that messed up and it hurt

Jeesh, I am really feeling for you. As you no doubt know by now, vicodin (anything with acedphedamin) can be terrible for your liver. I am not trying to scare you, just saying because you are talking about your liver. If a doctor says it is safe for you to take, milkthistle is known for cleaning the liver. That is not a mention so you would think you can continue taking vicodin and be ok, just letting you know, it never hurts to clean the liver with a natural herb (providing you consult with your doctor before using it). In my non professional opinion, until you can talk to your doctor ASAP, taper down on them both. I am only suggesting this because without doctor consultation, just stopping medications can be bad.

You will get some more responses from people on here. Some have went through addiction to both. It is best to stop, but only safely. Feel free to message me. Until then, I am hoping the best for you.
