I have L-Tyrosine , the only problem is my exercise motivation right now really *****. L-Theanine is another vitamin they use for that as well, I will go grab that tomorrow from a health store
I have had awful anxiety too. I have gotten L-tyrosine and I swear that and exercise has rid me of it
Hello I really want to try the Vivitrol
But Money is a bit tight right now but I will make it a priority to get it, heard a lot of good, I have really bad anxiety as well and feel depressed so I hope it can do the same for me, I'm def wiling to rey
I have been on vivatrol for the past four months. I can not get it now because I am pregnant. I was on vivatrol for opiate addiction. It was so helpful and I would recommend it to anyone. It really helps with cravings amd urges. I hardly had any while on tje shot. Also I have bad anxiety and it really seemed to help with that as well. If I were not pregnant I would still be getting this monthly. It has been extremely helpful but I would still recommend doing other things for your recovery while on the shot such as meetings and sponsorship.
Yes I posted about it before. You can gind a Dr in your area on the Vivitrol website. You have to have opiates out of your system to take it. But I would say it is a good option. I'm not sure how it is to stop taking it. I swear there was a post from someone who had stopped recently. But she may have been talking about something else. If I find it I'll give her name here to look st it.
I can 't fathom how it woukd be bad to stop and would give it a try if I needed too. Please let us know what you decide.
I have also been looking into Vivitrol , and really thinking about trying it, especially since it is non narcotic and not addictive , I have a lot more good then bad. They use Vivitrol for rapid detox , but I wld def talk to a Dr. And find out all the pros and cons about it, I have been doing a lot of research on it mostly over the net.
I know someone has been using pills for 1 month and shot for 3 months and swears by it. Before he couldn't stay clean for longer than a month he tried rehab and suboxone, but would either drop out early or sell the subs to get heroin.
It is extended release naltrexone but unlike Suboxone it is NOT and opiate replacement therapy. It is non-narcotic, non-addictive. It was approved by the FDA for opiate addicion in 2010.
You mean it's like suboxone or methadone?
Vivitrol is a once-monthly injection of extended release naltrexone.
No shame in the Jersey Shore game ; )
It was orginally used for alcohol but is now also used for opiate addiction as it blocks them from working and is supposed to help with cravings. My doctor recommended it but the shots are VERY expensive so I was looking for some firsthand experiences.
I believe it's for the treatment of alcoholism, and not for opiate pain medication. But best to check with a Dr. to get complete and accurate information. Please do not take this without a Dr.'s supervision.
Good luck!
Ok kinda embarrassed to admit this but the only time I've heard of this med is while watching Jersey Shores with my teenagers. Seems "Mike" on the show. (think thats his name) gets the shots to help avoid relapses. I too was wondering why more wasn't said on this site about it good or bad?
