Hi there and congratulations on the first week clean! It is very rough in the beginning but I promise it gets so much better. Pain will intensify in the beginning as your brain adjusts. Take motrin, and gently stretch you neck and back muscles. It will pass. Stay hydrated too.  Keep going and pushing forward. There is an end to it!

Go in the juccuzi. Get a heating pad. Massage.
Go to the library & load up on all your favorite magazines. It's better than starting a book & will help with the anxiety.
I like podcasts. Radio shows. Today I listened to some on the Maximum Fun network called "Risk".
I've been eating lots of almonds, cashews & bananas. Lots of hot water too.
Play with your pet. Or your neighbors pet. Pets are very intuitive. Mine know I need them. Big time!   You are doing great!  Pamela

Yeah...it could be rebound pain. It will take some time to get better. Hang in there.
