ADDICTION: SUBSTANCE ABUSE COMMUNITY
What happens during a cocaine overdose?

What happens during a cocaine overdose?

I've used cocaine occasionally (parties, long road trips, etc) but I've never indulged in so much I was afraid for my health. I've never wanted to push myself to the limit (NOT that I intend to) or even had enough to do so. I've heard people casually talk about going "snowblind" or staying awake for days and days on end. When a person has a deadly cocaine overdose - what happens to them? What happens to the brain, heart, speech, lungs, muscles, etc? In what order do things begin to fail or take that turn for the worse?
