I'm glad u are feeling much better.. when u take to much it is diffinitly scary.. u will get the hang of it.. takes some getting use to.. I know the frustrated feeling when ur afraid it isn't working.. u panic.. being able to stay on track and think is a big deal for us.. and we get afraid of loosing that.
Yes! I had a little planner book that had like EVERYTHING in there, but I lost it. :/ Actually, thanks for reminding me. I will go look for that now.
P.S. Feeling MUCH better. :)
One thing that helps, since we forget lol is to try to stay on a schedule. Set alarms.. keep the bed time routine.. that way u can avoid and sleep through the crashes..
The crashes are the worst.. I time them to where they hut at bed time so I sleep through it. Good luck to u!
Thank you guys for responding. Yeah, I took more than I was supposed to. What prompted it was once I started, I didn't like the come down of the Adderall so I decided to take another one to bring me back up. But now I regret doing that.
I'm normally only prescribed 40mg Vyvanse once in the morning and 10mg Adderall in the afternoon. I guess I just wanted to pull an allnighter to work on homework, but that obviously didn't work... :/
I think what I'll do is drink some water and lay down for a bit with a fan on and some blankets. If things get worse, I'll go in. But the Hydroxyzine seems to be helping a bit.
Again, thank you so much for responding so quick! It's nice when I'm a bit panicky to know others are out there.
:)
Sorry for all the typos .. I'm on my cell, and it's new.. and it seems to have a mind of its own.. :)
Ur dose is to high.. I have adhd.. I take ritalin. 10 mg short caring 3 times a day.. I don't feel it working.. but I know it is.. u shouldnshouldnt feel high after about a month of taking it.. alot of people mistake feeling high means it's working. This isn't true.. dial ur self back.. and make sure it's working. Not that u feel it. I we through this. When my dose was to high, I had the same problem. Dial it back down.. like i said.. u should not "feel" it working.. u should just notice u are able to stay on track..
We can't give you advice in terms of medicine, but with your symptoms...especially the racing, irregular heartbeat, and tightness in your chest, I would consider going to an ER or urgent care clinic.
You are taking amphetamines (with the Vyvanse, it is a "pro-drug" which means you aren't consuming an amphetamine directly, but rather your body converts it INTO amphetamines once it's metabolized.)
Over-dosing on speed can be very dangerous. As I said, I can't give you medical advice, but it sounds from the symptoms you listed, like you as experiencing an over-dose. Not too scare you, but please think seriously about going to an ER. Don't worry about what people will think of you; your life is precious. Good luck.
