We are not doctors we can refer others to speak to doctors for both dosage info or prices. Info they are going to get is going to differ so much all over just depends where you live and the doctor. How are any of us to know what dose a person should be on .we don't know patients med history or what other meds they may be on encouraging someone to talk to several different doctors is a great idea but asking what doses they should ask for that is between the patient and there doctor .We would never want a patient to say there dosage was enough because of fear lack money.when it was not really working for the patient. Not to mention the are programs that can help off set the prices of sub sometimes they pay for all of it . If you want more info on these programs let me know I will see what I can find.
If you are serious about quitting and can't afford the doctor route, try the tapering plans. You have to really want to quit and be willing to understand that you will be uncomortable, but that is short term and you can have your life back. It helps to get support from all the great people on this forum. They really know because they have lived through the hell of gettng clean. Good luck. You can do it.
Is there any way you can try and taper down? I jumped from a high amount and ended up relapsing. I changed things up. I got into NA and got honest with my doctor. Now I'm tapering and determined to stick with it. But really please check out some NA meetings, it could save your life. Suboxone is an alternative but why not try and taper down first and see if that could work for you. And pray, God does help those who help themselves.
not exactly how this works but I think you have to be somewhat clean before they will even see you, doc visit run from200-500 depending on where you live and that is just the first visit. after maybe 75-125. Your meds problely bout150 200. some docs willwork out plans for you buy why not try a detox program that will help. just some advice...
There is a reason Suboxone doctors prescribe larger amounts of Suboxone. First, especially in early treatment, it allows the body not to have downtime when the drug "poops out". Secondly, prescribing the addict 16mg a day makes it virtually impossible to over-ride the Buprenorphine and achieve a high by taking traditional agonist opiates. So, there are VERY good reasons to prescribe doses larger that are more than the ceiling effect. It's not a waste of money to keep an addict from relapse and playing around with achieving a high while on Suboxone. So, those reading this...LISTEN TO YOUR DOCTOR. Do NOT reduce your dosages because of what you read here. We're not doctors.
well thanks for alittle help, tomorrow is another day thanks and goodby
I understand. Look, Sub can be used as maintenance like Suboxone or as a fast taper drug. If I were you I'd find a Sub doctor and ask for a quick taper. You'd only have one month's worth of doctor's visits and the Suboxone pills. It should be less than 600 bucks all together. Then, get your *** into meetings. Comit to 90 in 90 again and get back into the program.
Any kinds ofpain pills I thought I didnt need anyone to hold my pain med that I had it togetyer How wrong I was
Ineed to get the mokey off my back so I gan start working steps again ,I have the tools just can t get do you understant
More times than you can count. How did you get your 6 years? What is your drug of choice and how much?

I am spending that now and getting no where,I NEED to stop death is not far awy
Don't blame not getting help on God not doing it for you. It doesn't work like that. God works on his timeline...but you have to put in the work. Nothing changes if you don't change anything. What have you tried before? Meetings? A counselor?
Well I tried to get help ,maybe GOD isnt ready for me to get clean thanks again
Nobody can answer this because of the differences between doctors. I've seen doctors visits range from 150 the first visit and 50 after to 600 the first visit and 150 every 2 weeks after that. The cost of meds also depends on how much the doctor prescribes. The medicine costs could range from 200 to 1000 a month. This is just one of those questions you need to reesaerch in your area.
Ididnt think it would be this to get an answer for someone trying to get help.does anyone want to help me???????????
I am asking about SUBOXONE.please just answer my ???? so I know if I can afford to go to a Doctor please just give me an answer
